Tignesie Tots Activities

At Tignesie Tots we recognise that skiing holidays are usually more fun for parents who can ski than for children who are not yet old enough to do so. This is why we pride ourselves on offering your children a fun packed week dedicated to their needs which is full of new, exciting adventures. Warming up
When skiing lessons get too much our nannies are happy to rescue children from the piste and take them for a hot chocolate to cheer them up.

Each day your nanny will bring an activity to your accommodation to entertain your children. ‘le sac magique’, as it has been named, is a useful distraction when it’s time to say goodbye to Mum and Dad. The activities are always age appropriate and with a little inside information, will interest your child. Some of the activities include:

Indoor Activities
Cupcakes Max, Ella and Adam enjoyed getting messy as we made cakes together, but the best part was eating them!
Isla (now a year older) enjoyed getting stuck in with the playdough and cutters. Playdough
Modeling We had great fun in January caring for 5 boys all under the age of 3 and a half years. They loved making the salt dough mixture and then modeling it into hot cross buns for their baker's shop.
This time it was 6 girls who were very creative and performed their own puppet show. Puppet show
Birthday party Saul celebrated his 3rd birthday during his holiday. We made party hats with all the children, played games and enjoyed a party tea which the boys had helped prepare and bake.
After Martin had been drawn around he enjoyed decorating himself with lots of different textiles. Cutting and Decorating

As well as activities to enjoy indoors there are lots of things to do and see in the resort of Tignes. We aim to take your children outside each day for some fresh air and exercise, these activities include:

Outdoor Activities
Adam, Max and Ella enjoyed drinking hot chocolate in the warm when the weather turned cold. Keeping warm
Husky dogs Maddie loved the husky dogs. They are in resort at least once a week and all the children loved to visit them.
Jameson enjoying his lunch outdoors in the sunshine. Lunch outdoors
On the sledge Eliza and Ismey enjoyed sledging together near the playground in the sunshine. When the snow is very deep buggies are very difficult to push around resort so we use sledges of varying sizes for different age groups.
There are 4 bungee trampolines in Le Lac as well as Val Claret and children as young as 2 can have a go. Natasha mastered the ability to do backwards somersaults. Bungee
Grotte de Glace The Grotte de Glace. If you travel up in the funicular there is an ice cave that has been sculpted out of the glacier which you can visit daily. It is a suitable outing for children over the age of 4.
Maisy, Sam, Joe and Anna decided to decorate their snowman with liquorice wheels! They naturally ate the sweets once they had finished. Snowman
Skating The ice skating rink is open each day from 2pm and this year they have built an igloo with seats inside for when you need a rest!
Ollie was so tired that he fell asleep on the floor just as we were ready to head outside! Tired out
